The version number of Moodle installed on your website is listed in a several places:

  • After logging in to the administration interface of Moodle you can see the version near the bottom of the page:

  • The file /version.php lists the version number on the line that begins $release = ': 
    $release  = '3.0.1 (Build: 20151221)'; // Human-friendly version name
