Magento Enterprise Edition 1.x to 2.2 Migration
Websites can not be upgraded from Magento Enterprise Edition 1.x to 2.2. Instead a migration of the data from the existing 1.x installation to a new 2.2 installation is done. Themes and extensions designed for Magento Enterprise Edition 1.x can not be used in 2.2, so going to version 2.2 is major change and may not be possible at this point if extensions you use are not available for the new version yet. Magento Enterprise Edition 1.x will continue to be supported until 2018, so there is no need to rush to 2.2 (if you are running an older version of Magento Enterprise Edition 1.x we an upgrade you to the latest version of that).
If your extension are supported in Magento Enterprise Edition 2.2 and you have a new Magento 2.2 theme ready then we can handle the migration for you. To insure the migration goes right, we first perform a test of the migration in a directory on your website, which allows you to test out the migration before we migrate the production website.
